Medical Staff
Medical DirectorDr. Mehmet (Zihni) Yilmaz, MDAs medical director, Dr. Yilmaz is responsible for the medical management of inpatient and the evaluation of outpatients. In his capacity, he directs all clinical care provided to the patient during their hospitalization and coordinates care with the patient's primary care physician and specialists in the treatment of their condition. Dr. Yilmaz is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been in practice in Battle Creek for over twenty years. A graduate of the University of Istanbul, he completed his residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan following his training at Illinois Central Community Hospital in Chicago. Illinois. Dr. Yilmaz is a member of the Michigan State Medical Society and the Calhoun County Medical Society and an advisor to the Calhoun County Chapter of the American Diabetic Association. |
| In addition, Dr. Yilmaz collborates with a wide range of specialists serving patients thorughtout and beyond Calhoun County. Their specialties include cardiology, family practice, internal medicine, nephrology, surgery (vascular, colorectal, neuro, general), psychology, radiology, orthopedics, urology, podiatry, psychiatry, and oncology. Having privileges at our Center provides these physicians with the freedom to serve our patients directly and/or consult with Dr. Yilmaz or Dr. Kindler as they care for our patients. |
