Mission and Values

Southwest Regional Rehabilitation Center is committed to the care and improvement of human life. In recognition of this commitment, we continue to strive to deliver high quality, cost effective health care services in the community and region we serve.

In pursuit of our mission, we believe the following value statements are essential and timeless:

Patient Rights and Organization Ethics

Southwest Regional Rehabilitation Center places significant emphasis on patient rights and promotes, in highest regard, the principles of ethical conduct.

In the delivery of our services, patients have a right to considerate care that safeguards their personal dignity and respects their cultural, spiritual and psychosocial values.

To ensure that patient's rights are met, appropriate mechanisms are in place to verify our commitment to those we serve. The hospital is devoted to respect the rights of patients and to conduct business relationships with patients, their families and the community in an ethical manner.

Information describing patient rights and the process to which patients may convey information regarding care received is directed to a patient representative. This process to be described to all patients and families upon admission to our facility.
